I'm sure enough clubs would say they can afford to play at league one level if they have the chance to jump a league or two. Today is the lowest Saturday Covid figure since two days before lockdown so I'm sure we will be ok.
The national league dropped a huge bollock yesterday They decided to view the governments advice about elite sport as not being applicable to national leagues north and south so cancelled there play offs. That Meant only 2 league leaders promoted and only 1 relegated from the NL. The EFL have looked at this and may decide not to accept NL play off winners, Barrow as leaders might be “invited” to replace Bury. Expect the NL to about turn early in the week. This was led by the Fylde chairman whose team is in the bottom 3, and we thought the EFL were incompetent and just looked after the big clubs

If league 1 doesn’t want to play next season but we do, then I guess we’ll have to stay in the championship, seems fair right? Although would that then mean 6 teams go down? It’s hard enough when it’s 3!
