Minimal when put alongside the time and effort taken to set someone on going through the database identifying multiple ST occupancy at a single address and then creating a seperate template for the letters to go to those addresses.
Plus the badwill generated when folk assume that the club cannot be arsed writing to them individually....

I don't think you'd need to have someone manually go through the database would you? Computers can do that. You're probably right though and it wouldn't save an awful lot of money in the long run. Do businesses pay the same amount for royal mail postage as us general types or is it cheaper in bulk like everything else seems to be?
Good point ST say the same thing every season. The reminders and the removal of Gough in the old shirt just as examples appears like the club are moving in the right direction.
I get discounted postage via the firm that prints my reminder letters. So I assume BFC do a similar thing.
But what about the ten games the kid does go to? You know, the ten games that they get bought a programme, a drink and a pie? And they may even get bought a shirt for the season. £100 a year for the 'arm rests' int bad.
You have a firm printing your reminder letters? I always figured that opticians just printed them out themselves. anyway ta for the info. Whats laser eye surgery like these days? Worth the risk or still to be avoided?
The amount of time spent getting them printed off then having them put in envelopes etc - fck that.
And fck laser eye surgery too. Your eyes eventually melt about 10/15 years after the op, but they cover that up.

The free childs place could be tweaked a bit to help out with those days that we're expecting a sell out. If the child won't be attending then there could be some way of giving that matches stub to the club and allowing the seat to be resold. Though that could be applied for all seats. In certain high attendance games the club could buy back unused seats from season ticket holders for a couple of quid or a fiver and then sell them again.
Aint knocking the scheme, as your post seems to imply, just knocking those that abuse it when the arm rests will produce no financial gain. Free kids tickets are fine if the club are monitoring there usage.
you need to be more creative You could have your patients (are they classed as patients?) folding them up and putting them in envelopes while you're checking their eyes. Unless of course their hands are busy doing something else that we should know about. And I think the surgery will be given a miss for a while then.
Theres one sits near me that had about 10 different people sat in the kids seat last year. From young kids right up to OAPs
A lot of people get the kids seat and then use it as a 'reserved' seat for whichever mate accompanies them on the day (and pay on the turnstile). I admittedly have done this a few times when the young un doesn't go, and on a few occasions upgraded i.e. pay £19 the day before to get an adult to take on the seat when the young un isn't keen to go. Do bear in mind many get the kids ticket for the all important stub for the big Cup game. Albeit NOT one stub was really required last season. We will get 3k seats at Newcastle so there won't be any game I believe where those without a stub won't get a ticket. I did use the free child stubs on some occasions byt that wasn't the motive for buying a ticket.
RE: Dont dare blame the fans Can sell De Silva for me. Never saw much from him this season. And if he brings in a good price = good business for me personally.
