Provided situation stays as is - i.e. decent price, we get all home matches, some away matches and we're still playing at Oakwell
If its looking likely that we can't get to the matches and is likely to be the reason for the season, my dad will also get one as he could not get to the ground anymore, but he will enjoy watching on the telly.
It depends on the circumstance. Am i allowed in the ground and under what conditions. If theres no pre match drink in the pubs, limited refreshments at the ground, remain in your seat at all times masked up etc I cant see it being an overly enjoyable experience. So I wont bother. My going to the ground is as much about socialising and seeing people I know having a gossip as it is the actual game. thats an often disappointing by product.
My first ever season ticket this year, I did wonder if the travel from Kendal would get me darn, but no, not a bit of it. So season ticket number 2 next year.
depends on the offering, for me. I'm really disappointed that fans have been charged for away games. IMO every ifollow game should have been free, home and away. if there's still no fans allowed next season I would renew mine, but not sure I could justify buying three, which I did this season.
Definitely. I would hate to see my team struggle financially and if buying a season ticket under the same arrangement as this season gave financial support then I’m in. I fully understand that some people cannot afford to or would not want to during these difficult times so I fully respect their choices and decisions
Yes. Our club will continue to need support. Also, whilst watching on ifollow is a poor imitation of being there it's much better than just seeing the goals on Quest.
Great to hear so many are going to back the club. Also good to see many making the most of the iFollow access. Personally I'm growing ti hate it and hence my personal dilemma. Watching on TV just leaves me downbeat that I can't go.
Most likely, yes, as long as the price doesn’t go up. I do a mixture of a standard season ticket for home games and then rather than the £40 on plus for away midweek matches I pay £40 odd quid (forgot exact amount) for commentary for all home and away matches, league and cup. (Obviously, I have home matches covered with season ticket anyway). It also means I get extended highlights of all matches and a full match replay within 24 hours of all matches so I can watch any away matches the next day if it sounded like a good game. That combination does for me as I’m used to following away matches with commentary only anyway. It’s annoying that they switched to tv style commentary after already selling me the product and being a loyal customer so I’m a bit miffed at that though.
I'm torn, I paid my money last year so it's money spent and wasted, so fair enough. If the lockdown continues we need more than we are currently getting for our £250.
Yes definitely. Must have access to at least the home games though via iFollow (as crap as it sometimes is).
Yes. I'm an OAP so it's cheap anyway. If I were younger and supporting a family I might have to weigh it up.
