See Hecky's stocks on a downer already

Had a very similar chat with a Leeds fan at my work a couple of weeks ago. When I explained our policy he said it made sense and you can just bridge the gap with a few good loans. Then I explained our policy on loans, he just replied "well you might make money but there's a good chance you'll go down"
All I had to come back with was, when we had loans we went down anyway.

 

Yeah and the likes of McBurnie and Barnes are now huge talents worth millions.

They were destroying him the other week on Twitter even before their latest setback.

There was a 'Hecky's at the wheel' post with a video of a bus driving off a cliff and bursting into flames. Which tickled me.

When he was good for us, he was very good, but I can't wish him well when he walked out on us for Leeds. I'd have been okay with it had it been Sunderland, say, but fvck, no. Not Leeds.

Cant see him lasting much longer then where does he go after there? Rumour was he was overlooked for league one jobs before he took the hibs move.. having said that didnt his give him a 3 year deal? Another payout if he gets sacked.

 

Well if we are going for pedantic then can I also point out Moore was our top scorer in league one last season.

Bielsa is exceptional. That side under anyone else is towing for top six.

 

Can I be pedantic and say our top scorer is actually Woodrow because it's a new season and although others have also scored one goal he has played less games so gets the nod pedantic-ally.

 

He took the same side hecky took into relegation form and got them in the play offs playing some great attacking football he is a good manager looks like jack Duckworth though.

 

I sold him my services as a tradesman , plus materials - exclusive of VAT - because I earn below the threshold.

Now if you're suggesting I've a downer on the club, then you're far wide of the mark. I've often been called a happy clapper in my defence of BFC, but then I never miss a game, home or away.

What do you think I should tell other fans? That we keep our best players? We sign experience? We sign championship players? If I told them that, I'd be lying.

You can love the club without being satisfied with anything it does.

If we are going goals to minutes then last season Bradshaw had to be right up there maybe Adeboyejo too.

 

This idea that players we had that were fantastic and we know it because we saw it in person all last season are now crap because:
-they left the club
-it’s not working out yet at their new club
Is really weird and terrible logic. Moves don’t work out for loads of players it doesn’t mean they’re suddenly terrible players and vice versa.
Is Chris Wood bad because hes still not scored for us? Silly diminishing of an excellent team. I believe with the players he built a relationship last year Moore would have a few by now and Woodrow would look even stronger.
