But likely to put voters off in more marginal constituencies.

Pontefract nearly went Tory at the last election. Wingfield (Rotherham) was close too.

Barnsley Central would have gone UKIP if the Tories hadn't stood.

I very much doubt the voters in Ponte change their vote based on anything Diane Abbott says

No it wouldn’t have. Brexit Party come second. Even then you’re assuming Tory voters would’ve voted for them.

You're right, I forgot UKIP were dying at that time as Farage had moved on.

Let’s not forget many of the Brexit Party voters will have been traditional Labour voters.

The Tory vote was only 2.8% down compared with Labour’s 23.8% down. I believe many of the Brexit Party voters from last time will return to Labour.

No, fascists is how I see the Tories. This time around it's Starmer or the Tories. The move to the left has to wait until after power has been secured.

I don't like her. But if she'd left the Jews out of her comments she would have barely caused a ripple. But the Israeli/Jewish lobby have very powerful allies - when ministers have -off-book meetings with Mosad it makes you wonder what's exactly going on. She should stick to bullying white European people, safe ground there.

Fascists are more in line with xtreme socialism than capitalism. Dictatorship being the outcome.
Adolf Hitler a case in point.
Tories are all for themselves. Sorry Stephen but that's how I see it.

I don't think the real power men are blue, amber, red or green. It's the chairman of the companies and Lords that decide what happens. You only have to look at the Tory Leadership. Three Prime Ministers and two Leadership contests because bosses leaked stuff out to the press and got itchy feet about the leaders at that time. Boris had to go. However, Truss never had a chance, nobody wanted her and when they're bored of Sunak he'll be ousted too.

Thought you'd seen the light lol. Re a previous post it was not put well but in a previous one you would have seen I aimed my anger at tory politicians. not all. re racism. I do see Tories as selfish though. And by that token it spoke volumes re brexit. They won the racists vote. Not all brexiters are racist. But racists to a man voted brexit.
