    To be fair Boris, truss the bloke who went in I'm a celebrity (can't remember his name) have had enough bad press and front page nightmares to last them a life time. What Abbott said is wrong and quite stupid.

    I completely get that some people have a tendency to word things badly etc and they come off completely different to intended but if you regularly do that then anything you write or say to the media should be proofread first. Absolutely no excuse for just sending it in willy nilly without getting someone to check that it comes across as she intends yet she's done it time and time again. By all accounts she's a great MP who cares deeply but she shouldn't be allowed anywhere near the labour front benches

    They all suffer alot of prejudice in the uk as do catholics. What she said is indefensible although some are trying their best on here.

    The problem is, no one can claim they don't have prejudices. Some quite simple. Scotsmen are tight. Closely followed by Yorkshiremen Ian ;) And all races and people who have religious beliefs can't escape that fact. But let's not forget that some of those who say they are persecuted. Are bigots. The catholic church to cover a point. Will not bless a gay marriage cos of its teachings but allow it. . And most if not all religions reckon all those that don't have a faith or not baptised are going to hell.
    I say that as someone who was brought up to believe in God. Lost my faith many moons ago. I don't criticise anyone who still believes. If it makes em happy why not. But I come across some Christian's who are some of the most racist people I've ever met. No doubt other faiths have em.
    Re DA. I honestly believe she is ashamed of the wording. But do I think she is anti semitic. No . As the saying goes you can't say boo to a goose bar someone crucifies you. And the right wing media and Starmer are lapping it up. Good excuse to get shut.

    Absolutely agree. What she said was tone deaf and utterly stupid. She's a liability to Labour at times. But was what she said racist? Of course not.
