I don't think there's anyone behind them. They could have just organised a protest group, but someone obviously thought that was too lame.

 

The only people getting any pleasure out of this stupid faux feud will be the owners. Because while ever the fan base is more interested in slagging one another off and playing the youre not in my gang so you must be in their gang cards, the owners are carrying on destroying OUR club. I pointed out the other day the fact that shouldn't be ignored is that in a couple of days nearly 1500 reds fans felt strongly enough that things need to change that they joined a Facebook group whose stated intention was to achieve a change of ownership I'll add to that statement that what also shouldn't be ignored is the amount of very long standing season ticket holders on here who've said enough is enough and the purchase of a season ticket will stop. PMG are slowly but surely knocking the life out of OUR club whether through deliberate actions for some currently unknown purpose or because they simply have no idea how to run a football club. So maybe just maybe instead of both supporters groups throwing insults and accusations across the internet the trust should quietly and privately asked to speak confidentially to any interested parties that the face book group organisers know about so they can asses whether this is genuine or just some wishful thinking from some bored keyboard warrior's. The one thing I'm absolutely sure about is something needs to change at Oakwell and quickly

 

Seems to me that if you don’t share word for word or like everything the main resistance say, you are automatically termed a collaborator. That’s the problem

 

If it ends up been true and luke come up with this takeover id definitely buy him a pint. I think he like you were as your trying to get answers from conway himself next month other peoples patience has worn thin and they want these out i cant blame them but whatever will wait and see what conway says in February and go from there.

 

For what it's worth I would be absolutely shocked if a takeover attempt happened. I fully expect this PGM to still be here for a long time. Until they can make some money from the sale.

 

How they going to make money club is de valuing month by month end of season we will be in league one brittain helik and styles will be gone by start of next season, no ground, they wont speculate to accumulate, season tickets next season will be at a low fue to mostly off field things.

 

Exactly they will still be here like I said

 

Unless they cut there loss and go if it starts costing them they will be gone.

IMHO if we’re a genuine takeover group it would be more accountable , welcoming , and all encompassing and self explanatory entity than it’s displaying .
A genuine group would want to Take all or most of the fan base with it .
What seems to be happening imo is it’s divide and conquer your either with the current regime or with us .
I’m with neither tbh I don’t like a lot of what this current ownership are doing but I hope I’m being constructive in my criticism but I see or hear nothing positive or constructive in this FB supposedly consortium .
If they are genuine then they’ll want to win such as my self over with constructive answers and alternatives but all I’ve seen so far is conflict without credibility.

 

My guess is that they wanted to be a protest group and someone fairly pointed out that without a plan and someone to buy the club, there's nothing that can be done. So they switched to "actually we have got a plan, we've got these proper serious investors that have loads of money and stuff"

 

The FB group alienated people from the off by taking umbrage or whatever about questions that were obviously going to be asked such as validity of claims like a ‘ takeover group’ Why didn’t they contact the Supporters trust in the beginning? It’s things like theses that I instantly became suspicious about. Then I watched the Tykes TV broadcast by Luke and found myself becoming more reassured about it, and that he seemed to be offering an Olive branch to people that had been suspended from the page. Luke then goes and likes a derogatory post about this board and many of it’s posters. Quite frankly, I find it so unappealing and smacks of chaos, I’d get behind a coordinated campaign that seeks to bring all disgruntled supporters under it’s umbrella, but this FB campaign has a long way to go to show that

 

Facey has no credibility for me, period. Any attempt at ousting needs to be done in a way that incorporates everyone who wants to be a part of it. But in the real world. Not vile Facey.

 

Does anyone know how we get paid for posting nice things about the club , I’m thinking of getting a new kitchen

 

I belong to the group purely and simply so that I can have a nosey. I'm sure there's plenty doing the same.
