Im not disagreeing with you, my response was aimed more at the lack of morality in football these days. The game sickens me at times. I'm almost done with it in general. Love Barnsley, Hate Football.
Couple of things Steve mate as you've looked at this in detail. 1 He hasn't served his time, he's only half way through it, he's serving the remainder on parole. 2 There isn't an appeal, his leave to appeal was rejected.
totally agree with you ....lack of morality is but a sign of the times...both in and outside the game, all for the worse unfortunately. The youngsters look up to these people and then think every thing is okay to copy..... another reason why he ( evans)shouldnt be allowed back into the spot light that the stage of football provides.
Yeah I thought that as well The posters say they have read case file and deduce from the facts that he is innocent when judging by their posts it clearly reflects their lack of knowledge and understanding of the full facts. The way these people are trying to clear him with so little knowledge is sick IMO. Gordon Taylor is proof of this along with the poster you replied to.
I'm despondent at it all to be honest. Society is ******. If he ever clears his name then he starts again, but unless that wver happens he's a rapist and there is no place for him in pro football, in my opinion. It's wrong on so many levels.
Couldn't disagree with that more. With all the bad PR this has already caused for Sheff Utd and Oldham, why would you bring it onto your own club? The ONLY reason to even mention Ched Evans would be if you had any interest in signing him and I think its safe to say that Hull do not. If Danny came out with a similar statement would you applaud him for speaking his mind and not caring what other people think..? Part of his job is to act in the best interest of the club and nothing about that statement is in the best interests of Hull Football Club. Stay well away from the whole thing and concentrate on winning football matches.
Another post that just proves how out of touch you really are and adds to your very long list of posts that goes way beyond your actual knowledge.
Considering that Danny kept him on at blunts while this was all happening, and that it's been mentioned Danny visited him in prison while he was our manager - I would suggest Danny does want him to get back into football.
I'm not saying that - but it has some bearing IMO. I would want his contract terminating the second he was found guilty of I was manager, or I'd be walking.
