Its never interested me to be honest, and in fact when I've seen some of it, I've always thought Italian club football is over rated. I remember Michael Grade saying when he/Ch4 bought rights to show it, he never had to pay for an Italian restaurant meal in London again lol.
Well that was a turn up for the books… after thunderstorms and torrential rain the game was delayed 25 minutes. AC won 1-0, Leao with the goal.. it was an early goal and I expected them to kick on after this but they never did and Verona came back into it 2nd half. The standard was quite poor and both teams were open way too much but neither had the guile in the final 3rd; the stand out player was Leao and they rely on him way too much.. the fans also expect when he’s on the ball, as well as being Captain; a lot of pressure on young shoulders. One to tick off the bucket list though… Never realised 3/4 of the ground is fully covered above either.
I remember playing Sunday morning then 5 pints before pub shut, putting serie a on to get me to sleep then town for 7 for reopening.
