For what its worth, I don't believe he is in the running.
Lets be a little more analytical in our approach to appointing a new coach. The stats say we panic or get the wrong bloke anyway.
Di Canio is very very passionate and some fans may think that running up and down the touchline screaming and waving arms in the air is a pre requisite to a successful coach................in reality it is not.
The players may need a kick up the arse but what we really need now (IMHO) is stability. We need our players to get in a formation that suits us and play with passion and commitment (oh and score more goals than the opposition!).
There are better candidates than Di Canio out there, much better (that's if he's even in the running).
We need a coach who can motivate the players and is tactically astute and half decent at signing players......EASY!

Spot on. I suggest we us this as our epitaph if the unthinkable becomes a reality.
