    That's awful, not just a cricketing legend, he was the epitome of the Aussie character & nature. Incredibly sad news.

    I would always fear the worst as soon as the Aussie captain threw him the ball when playing us. My biggest regret is not seeing him play live.

    News that's as shocking as it is awful. I had to read the headline three times to make sure I was reading it right.

    Immense skill, astute cricket brain and an ability to get under a batter's skin made him the best bowler I've ever seen. RIP

    What a shock! I was lucky enough to be at old Trafford when he bowled Mike Gatting.
    Obviously didn't appreciate the delivery until later.
