I think that he's saying that regardless of whethere Jay wanted her in her own bed that the police/social services simply wouldn't allow it straight away. They obviously aren't 100% convinced that the parents are completly innocent and until they can rule them out completly they won't risk putting her at harm.

and what I'm saying is that all the coppers in West Yorkshire wouldn't be able to stop me from seeing my kid. Unless they locked me in a cell too! And I don't think that would go down too well with the media. Can you imagine the McCann's being kept away if Maddie had been found?

In microcosm in that area you have Britain today, or at least the result of decades of putting self first and having aspirations limited to benefit dependancy. Because someone else will always pick up the tab. The tragedy is that Shannon Matthews is probably better off in care than with her Mother and latest 'partner'.</p>

yeah I can imagine that, especially as they were guilty of neglect which ultimately led to the disappearence and quite probably murder of their daughter.

Its about time the government put a block on the amount of kids allowed per household. The country just cant cope with the amount of population at the moment. 5 kids in a small house like that is disgusting and not a normal safe or healthy environment.

 

According to the Channel 4 programme last night shes got 7 kids to 5 different dads, and 4 of them, including Shannon live at home, in a 2 bedroomed house!
