In the football club, no. In the company that owns the ground and the land, yes.

so if you buy share/s would you be a "Reyt Supporter" or is that just ST holders? AND

would you be able to complain/criticise/moan ad hoc, or again is that just ST holders as it is now according to the "Self Righteous Brothers" on this board.

Oh and for the record Yes I would buy a share, just like I bought a seat and a brick etc etc..even though I am rarely able to get to Oakwelldue to work/family stuff....but despite having held a ST for almost 20 years I am not a reyt supporter as I currently do not own one.

Lets just say for arguments sake that the club and land were one again?

    I would

If Barry Taylor apologises to all shareholders in BFC 1887 vintage.

If there were any assets to invest in other than players (2 year) contracts.

If there was an undertaking for the directors to be more commercially astute and believe in the need to broaden BFC as a brand and expand its horizons. ie start to earn their corn, not just administrate.

    But a yes, nonetheless?

Dare I say it, but if there were a few thousand shareholders, there could be an election for office, just like there used to be?

i cannot believe you lot would put money in to the club with the present lot running it........ would you honestly give the likes of Albert Don Rowing money with his track record of gaffes?.......... you could just send it to Peter Ridsdale or Uncle Ken Bates.......... you'd get the same return.....nowt!

Madness ensues on here ....... it really does.

Hope this helps ..... but insanity is hard to help

When all's said and done one man owns BFC - through whatever intermediaries, but it's 'his' club so why would he want to give that up for next to no financial reward and hand control to the likes of us ? I wouldn't...

What needs to happen is either I win the Euromillions tonight or a consortium of investors is garnered under the direction of person or persons suitable to do so - can you imagine that debate ? - and then they can approach Mr Cryne and say 'here's x million pounds, sell us the club'.

Whats the difference between buying a share and buying a season ticket it just sounds like your increasing prices under a different name? Both contirbute to the running of the club don't they?

    Maybe?

Yes there could but provided that one shareholder had more than 50% of the shares any appointment could be scuppered
