I can't disagree with the decision to send him back but I must say the abuse being dished out was the worst I have ever heard given to our own players.
People seem to think because they've paid their 20 quid it gives them licence to whatever they think fit. I admit I'm a bit old fashioned( my first match was in 1947) but my attitude is support your team until the final whistle and the let them know what you think but never more than a good booing. Certainly no reference to their parentage or other personal attacks. The John Smiths Stadium was to me like a throwback to the Coliseum of early Roman times.

My take is that a lad who earns as much in a week as most fans who pay to watch him in a year not perform, doesn't deserve any adulation! Especially when in 8 games or do he's not done owt!
