I'm sure. lets have a competition, who can make the most stupid statement. Fill in the blanks:

    Blades agree Akinbiyi deal

Sheffield United have agreed a deal with Burnley to sign striker Ade Akinbiyi, although the 31-year-old is yet to discuss personal terms and undergo a medical.

The two Championship clubs are said to have agreed a deal worth around £1.75m after the Blades increased their initial offer made over a week ago.

Akinbiyi has scored 14 goals for the Clarets so far this season and the striker will not be joining them for their European training break as he is travelling to the Lane to discuss terms.

    I reckon

they'll easily make promotion without him. But I guess Warnock wants to make sure. What's £1.75 compared to the £20 miilion they'll get for promotion?

Prediction: He'll be sold for about 250,000 in next January's transfer window when he finds his first team chances in the premiership severely limited.
