    33 is not old for a goalkeeper.

    Nor an outfield player really; look at David Weir at Rangers! 40!

    I agree

    it does not matter if they are 17 or 35 if they are good enough. The legs get slower but the brain can usually make up for that.

    Apologies Glen Little is almost 34y/o!! too old and we don't need another right winger

    if he was left winnger perhaps as we lack a natural left footer..... but Little would no doubt want decent pay packet and hasn't played to much football recently. He warmed bench for Portsmouth and then finished season back at Reading on loan.

    to echo my point look at stats/info......... GRAY vs MORGAN

    According to Soccer base.......

    JULIAN GRAY
    Age = 29 (30 in sept)
    Height = 6'1"
    League Games Played = 166 (+59 as sub)
    League Goals = 18
    Goals / Games = 0.08
    Clubs = Arsenal (trainee), Palace, Birmingham and Fulham........
    Profile = pacey left winger who has spent main of his career playing in the championship, in recent years he has be premiership reserve player and has failed to hold down a first team place.

    DEAN MORGAN
    Age = 25 (26 in October)
    Height = 6ft
    League Games Pl = 121 (+118 as sub)
    League Goals = 26
    Goals / Games = 0.1
    Clubs: Colchester (trainee), Reading, Luton and loan spells with Southend, crewe and leyton orient.
    Profile: pacey and energetic striker/left winger played at championship level for both Reading and Luton, and also has expeience in L1 & L2.

    Got to say I have always felt that Julian Gray hasn't failed to impress since leaving palace. Morgan was a promising youngster and stayed faithful to luton following their recent demise. Both have pretty similar attributes as far as I can see, but I assume Morgans wage demands will be less than Grays, Morgan has better goal average and also has age on his side.

    For those raving about Julian Gray can you please tell me why, and explain what he has done over the past few years?

    He always rips us apart but to be fair does little the rest of the time. I wouldn't bother with him.
    But I wouldn't bother with this Morgan either.
