Sheff Utd

They got exactly what I wanted them to get - absolutely nothing. Radio Sheffield would have been unbearable until August had they reached the final.

 

I didn't give a t*ss who won but I was leaning towards Sheffield United purely because a lot of Hull fans had supposedly said they were "saving their money for the final". I thought that was massively disrespectful, particularly in terms of how the game panned out.

When you think where Hull were not so long ago it just shows how the attitude in football has changed at a lot of clubs.

 

Just look at the Leicester fans this year. When we played them at Oakwell our first season back it was a relegation decider.

 

I have always found it difficult to decide which Sheffield club I dislike most. But those games in the 80's and 90's, plus the way they have always played their football mean the blades probably take that special place in my mind. And that's before I get onto the subject of their fans!
