West Ham......... should have been given a much bigger fine and had it passed to the previous board that brought him in. Who would suffer the most if West Ham went down? The fans and chairman. Who's done nothing wrong and shouldn't be punished? The fans and current chairman.
Theres more to this Tevez that is seen by the common eye. Points were never going to be docked for third party ownership as both Everton and Portsmouth have done the same this season plus tim howards agreement. There is no doubt more players held under 3rd party ownership that the clubs have 'forgotton' to tell the FA about at bigger clubs than west ham. i think the premier league looked at the bigger picture from their point of view and though how do, what happens if a Arsenal or Liverpool player is held 3rd party un beknown to the league rules... By setting the precedent of a fine it covers them from finding a big club guilty and having to deduct points so its pats on the back at the gentlemans club of the big clubs while the small ones suffer
Money corrupts......................................... The Italian FA sorted out their corruption. The FA are condoning it in the Prem.
exactly. The sooner some one gets the balls to say enough the better. but it wont. The ***** who admitted knowing about the tim howard agreement should be on the dole as soon as his mouth opened.
Ok Mr Coachman......... lets turn it around to us. The previous board bring in a player in the wrong way. That board sell to a new owner and it comes out the previous board brought in a dodgy player. We then get points deducted (pretend West Ham never happened and that we were in there position) for having this player play and keep us up do you......... 1. Say we deserved to have points off because we should be punished for what we did. Or........ 2. Say we shouldn't have points deducted because the people suffering from it have done nothing wrong.
Its simple dreamboy: West Ham got fined to set the precident. Once its set if say an Arsenal got collared then all they will get is a fine. Can you imagine the up roar from Arsenal if they looked to be getting deducted points. Money is all what football is these days
can't complain about the rules of the FA they agreed to abide by them and to any decisions taken by independant enquiries.
They should have been docked points end of. The independant report all but said it. The premier league bottled it. It'll end up in court. If we were in Sheff Utd's position thad have been livid.
Purely based on football results........they were not good enough.......end of story. Expecting to escape relegation by politics is totally unaceptable.
I would have been livid livid we couldn't get at least a point at home to the club 3rd bottom! They were ***** yesterday, they played for what they had.
RE: Ok Mr Coachman......... The Club is still responsible, it's nothing to do with ownership.
Tavez was an illegible player and West Ham should lose all points they gained whilst he was playing.
A £5 millon fine is peanuts to a Club who would have lost a reported £60 million had they been relegated.
It opens the door now to rule breaking sanctioned by the FA.
It's bent and it's corrupt.

How stupid can people be? End of? results on the pitch? So it doesn't matter how many rules you break or how dishonest you are - it's the results on the pitch that matter.
Rule of thum END OF is just the same as FACT and when either are used it usually indicates a blinkered mind.
RE: So is Thumb That's the great thing about this board. You can correspond with folk who you know are lovely people and you don't have to know them or ever meet them.
he was not ineleigible he had been registered-the offence was not telling the Prem about the 3rd party ownership
What goes around comes around. Seem to remember Sheffield United getting a game called off against WBA by getting players sent off and faking injury? did they get any points deducted?
