had wretched luck with injuries too.

the collar bone break was cruel, especially given the greatstuff we played under ritchie. Nardiello would have started the season and no doubt scred a few.

    Exactly Johnny, at Southend.....

    He looked a different player,

He played with a smile on his face, ran himself ragged, was up for it big style and hated being subbed,

All that you want in a player.

Davey does seem to be bringimg the best out of him

You cannot deny his skill or talent.

Whether the Board can offer him enough inducements to stay I dont know.

His recent performances will no doubt have attracted no end of interested clubs.

    Hope we keep him

RE: Hopefully, the Club will realise that they are allowing a goal machime to leave the club!

You're right, and he really does look a hell of a different player when he's working hard. I'm not sure what it is that sparks it but he's one of them players that either turns up or doesn't. If Davey can keep him focussed and working as hard as he has in the last few games, he'll keep getting in dangerous positions with the ball and we all know what he CAN do when he gets there. A minor gripe - he does need to be a little less selfish, but then he often sticks it in the net when he has no real right to, so I only mean a little.

Hope very much that he has signed a new contract.

    Don't worry about it Tina

You are talking as though it's a done deal.

Look at the article - "by Hoyland Owl", it's come off a fan site somewhere, wouldn't take too much notice

    RE: You Fools

teck thi rose tinted specks off pal, nardiellos poor form in the past has been down to one thing, his cant be arsed attitude.the talent has alway's been there, the work rate has'nt,at the moment he his combining his talent with thewillingness to knuckle down and work during games and its paying off, both for him and the club.simon davey deserves some credit for nardi's new found attitude, i think he has finally got through to him the harder he works the more success he will have, summat ritchie and fart failed to do.

    Cheers ES - I am a worrier

But we all are worried . However, it does look as if Davey is getting the best out of Nardiello.

He is a Championship Player and we would , honestly, be fools to allow him to move ,on either with a no fee or with any constraints whatsover.

At Southend, he was on fire, against Birmingham he was the same. If Davey is coaching him and bringing out his obvious potential, why should he move or go?

Get him signed up now is what I would say.

    Yes, but then suddenly.............

Along comes someone who inspires you, someone with whom you can relate, who shares the dream etc.......................All of that seems to have happened with Nads

He is a differnt player under Davey.

For those who go home and away, you can see it.

    Immense improvement

The Board need to sign Nads up sooner rather than later

    No.

I have seen his hunger and his commitment.

He is, I think responding well to a new Manager, someone who understands his talents etc...

We would be foolish to allow him to leave,

He scores goals for God's sake and he scores them under pressure.
