RE: W"hat do you flippinn mean?

The three goals I'm talking about are:-

Last League game of the season to put us into the Play Offs
2nd Leg of the Play Offs to send us to Cardiff
The equaliser in the Play Off Final

In all he's scored 29 goals in 59 starts. You really should take more interest in what happens at your club.

    No problem

Nardiello is a confusion, an enigma , a lazy shyster .....................etc etc.

I just have this feeling that Davey is helping him to achieve his potential.

I am probably wrong and all that,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Nice one Statto ......... proof will be in the pudding, we stay up, he signs ( He'll be off like a shot if someone offers 3 years) but if he signs, he'll not get 10 goals next season

Best striker at club, no argument. What he has done for us in the last couple of years just cant be dismissed. If he is crap again next season until the last few weeks of the season and then scores the goals that matter at the end then he is worth keeping. Without him we would be in League 1 still, and lets not forget what he has done this season. Maybe Tina is right about Davey knowing how to get the best out of him. He is working hard now which is something he didnt do last season even in the play-offs. Looks a good player now. Deserves another contract.

Sounds like you're hoping he won't get 10 goals. The lad's given us a chance of stopping up. Give him some support for christ's sake. It's numpties like you who have got on the players backs and made it a chore for them to play at home.

    Deserves..........

a new contract for his big match goals. I think we will finally see what we have all known he's been capable of for a long time now.

All I want is effort and some sort of committment from players, I'm not even asking for it 100% of the time, even 75% would suffice.

If Nardiello would have shown that earlier in the season, along with Heckingbottom, Hayes, Devaney then we wouldn't be in the position we're in now.

It's a great shame we have to be 2 down, in the relegation fight, or in the shop window before we show what we're made of. Maybe a little more consideration for the fans, the money and sacrifices they spend and demonstrate week in week out and show some effort, passion and enthusiasm.

Lets face it, it's not a badly paid job. If you were earning that sort of money, your employers would expect you to earn it, or get out.

90 Minutes of passion and determination surely isn't alot to ask for.

Well then, that's it..... he's as good as gone!

BFC will snap their hands off for the 20 grand they offer for him.
    Done deal.
Another one heads for the golden gates of Hillsborough.

My opinion, for what it is worth

We should offer Danny another contract.

He has certainly flattered to decieve on so many occasions throughout his career but he has got time on his side. If and it is a big if, he manages to harness his talent and complement it with hard work and improving his all round game then we would be looking at a player whose value would run into the millions. It all depends on how much he wants it in my opinion and also a manager who can get the best out of him.

It may be that he is just having a good run of form as he needs a new contract or it may be that Davey is managing to get the best out of him. However, it will be definitely worth the risk of offering him another year or two if it is the latter.

Whatever happens I will wish him all the best because he is one of the most technically gifted players I have seen at Oakwell in recent seasons and he single handedly got us into the championship by scoring the goals when it mattered. Hopefully he will do the same again to keep us in the championship and he will continue to improve with us next season.

I bet its 'agent talk' again. Now don't I remember when he was out of contract before we signed him on a permanent deal. Weren't Wigan Athletic coming for him with a massive bid to Manchester United. Never happened, though, did it? I think it is 'agent talk' to talk up his new contract. Hope so.
