    No he didn't. It was GS who was desoparate for them. And what do we get? With the exception of Wallwork, no better that we've got. Ritchie knew this, didn't want to waste money, but got sacked for it. Apart from that, we now play crap football, and by the time we play our next away match, we shall probably be 23rd in the table.

    i will put it here because the reply thing doesn't work, but i love your pick of John Sheridan. People were having a right go at me the other day for bringing him up. But Oldham win again today with a great 3-0 victory. I would prefer a decent manager at a club, then someone out of work.

    Don't think motivation is the problem. We just aren't good enough. Three points minimum needed in next three games (all 3 against Weds would do) then we should see the new manager named I reckon. Haven't a clue who it will be but he will have his work cut out. Keeper, left back, centre half, centre midfielder and at least one striker needed in the window for me. That's just for starters. It aint gonna be pretty methinks, but lets hope the table reads as it does now come May, cos I think that's the best we can hope for.
