    They should have offered a 5 for 50 or summat to try and get the fans in. Yesterday’s game 11,500 home fans almost no casual fans for a crucial derby says it all about the pricing.

    Does anybody have any data on the correlation between the number of home fans brought in through special offers and success on the pitch? Last year I recall offers for Brentford and Huddersfield, we drew both. Lost to Millwall this year.

    Sort of, I was thinking of specifically in terms of do offers & more fans translate to success on the pitch? People keep saying "let's get the place rocking", but I can't remember such a case. Oakwell was rocking against Walsall, but that was because we were playing good football and absolutely stuffed them.
