2 years ago my daughter was 6, i got her a season ticket next to me and my son. She hardly went to a game, but the point was to get her used to going. She went to many more last season and hasn't missed a Saturday game this season, she's missed a few Tuesday nights as she gets tired. Maybe some are the same as me. Shouldn't automatically presum people are buying tickets to abuse the system. im sure the club may compare how many kids tickets are used compared to how many sold but very much doubt the have the info on each individual ticket and how often it's used. Could be wrong
That's exactly it -w hen young'un shows interest in going I'll get her a ST - so she's guaranteed to sit next to me. She probably won't make every game but it's a way of getting her into it. Can't believe the paranoia on here sometimes about somebody might be just getting away with something.
The club might have data available on how many tickets are used, but that's different from being able to check quickly when there's a queue of people waiting to be served. I'm sceptical that they'd be able to enforce a restriction on unused tickets in practice. Anyone can rip the unused tickets out of their book and start arguing that the system (if even available in real time) is wrong.
I think it's a shame that so much debate is taken up with folk convinced the club will make a balls of allocating tickets.
The club should make it clear what season tickets for seniors and juvenile can get in the case of special matches. This should be in the terms of the ticket purchase.
it is clear, its been clear since as long as i can remember, buying a season ticket puts you at the front of the queue with every other season ticket holder, why should it be changed once every 5yrs when a big game like this comes along
Re: agree ST Because it should never have been allowed in the first place. The season ticket allows that person to obtain a seat for a game, not to allow their mate to get preferential treatment. If they wanted that, they should have got a ticket.
The electronic turnstyles do actually differentiate. They are monitored by an operator (normally one for 4 turnstyles) and they should have a light on the inside that lights up when a concession is used, the operator can glance over then and check if its a kid or not. You don't realise they're watching but they are, or should be
Agree with you there mate If they start fekin abart with kids tickets I've done, got one for grandkid who due to his age doesn't gt to many night games but if I'm not allowed to get a ticket for him they'll get a gob full off me all my sons and daughter started going to well in similar fashion in fact they Dint need s/ts they were lifted over gate many a time. If the club don't allow this why dint they state this at beggining all this scaremongering about thousands of tickets belonging to bairns that don't go is ****** there may be a few but there's always somebody that will abuse it no excuse to take it out on innocent. Seems t me people that complainin for nowt.
