No we shouldnt. Unless something is proven to have taken place then action should/will be taken against that person.

Its not for every other Barnsley fan who committed no offence to pander & plead.

I still think its a misheard chant of "where's your caravan"

Wot they all said. Absolutely bloody not. Just stop talking about it. It looks like nowt happened, that's that. The more wibbling and hand-wringing on here, the more this urban myth grows and the more mileage sh*trags like The Mail and that gimp on Twitter get out of it.

Got to agree. I think any gesture of apology would look like guilt and I dont want to be associated with something as vile as this. If it is proven to be true then yes but until then I think it should just run its course.

I know I'm probably not welcome here but I had to sign up just to see if the rumours were true. A look through your BBS isn't clear if there is any base to it or not. If there is then I have never heard of a more disgusting chant at a football match. If it's ******** then I apologise. If that's the case then you lads should create a sticky or something to say so. At the moment, Barnsley fans are not looking too good in the football community.

It sounds like you've made your mind up.

Unlike you I was there and heard nothing. If I had I would have been one of the first to disown it.

No Barnsley fan at the game On here or who I know of heard any such comments,

All the comments on Facebook and twitter seem to have originated from Leeds fans and not Doncaster.

I agree such comments are vile and if they had been chanted, I very much doubt any fans would have joined in to make it loud enough to be heard by rival fans

Brewery, no, I definitely haven't already made my mind up. I came on here hoping to find a board full of your fans saying what a load of crap it is but that doesn't really come across. Maybe (if anything at all) it was just a couple of moronic kids. I'm pleased to hear it first hand from someone that was there that nothing was heard. Good luck for the rest of the season.

Having thought more about it and listened to what people have said, I definitely don't think that we need to make any gesture that implies that it happened. This has been completely made-up by some sick people with a grudge. However, perhaps like the Palace fan suggested a sticky or something should be put up on this site. It's amazing how the clubs reputation is going to be damaged to such an extent by some attention seeking loser. Abuse about us is rife on Twitter with people like Phil Neville 'retweeting' to 200,000 + followers. Some people are now saying that it was widespread chanting. Depressing that there is nothing that we can do to stop it.

No idea. Definitely not at work, though. Honest.

To do something about it adds credence to the accusations. If nothing was said, we should rise above it.
