Yes of course her experiences to date will have an effect on her decision making and how she reacts, However, you say previously: "That she doubted herself in the moment, maybe she realised if she'd got him sent off there'd be a load of people who would criticise her as being oversensitive and open herself up to all kinds of abuse on social media" So she has to analyse how much negative and positive comments she will get on social media if she gets Aguero sent off, then work out that she might get more negative than positive comments, then ascertain that will create abuse for her on social media. So she decides she doesn't want to draw attention to herself and she's going to let the FA deal with it retrospectively. Plus she analyses all the information in the split second from the "incident" happening, so she decides to just bat it away. Plus she does all that whilst officiating in a top flight PL game concentrating on keeping her eye on the players and the action in her field of view. Personally I think that isn't possible, so we'll have agree to disagree.
Sexist intimidation attempt. Cowardly, and has no place in the game or society. I don't care what they do to him but this needs to be called out by those in authority.
