    Probably some truth in that people keep saying he has potential but i cant see what his strengths are.

    The itk poster who put the long post about schopp been a loser and problems behind the scene etc said kane went to wagamama when we played city in a freindly instead of watching the game.

    Although I don't fully buy into the Sibbick love-in. Prefer him as sweeper or strong midfielder.

    You simply cannot be a 6ft something CB, and not be able to challenge for a header at this level.

    Given this has been doing the rounds for quite a few days and Asbaghi didn't refute that he was going, I'm pretty certain we're trying to ship him out.

    I like Sibbick. I think he's got talent and adaptability. He can pass the ball. He's not slow. And his goal at Cardiff had a mark of quality about it. There have been numerous times he's shifted positions and done a decent job, and last season he improved the back line when he came in and displaced Sollbauer.

    In the time he's been here, I feel we've messed him about quite a bit and farmed him out several times. I recall feeling quite saddened hearing from him in an interview that he hadn't really been contacted while being sent out to the Netherlands and still suffering the effects of glandular fever and rarely getting any game time at all.

    The sale makes little sense to me, other than a desperation for cash. He seems precisely the sort of player we should be intent on developing. A good ball playing centre half or a deep sitting defensive midfielder are particularly valued. He's still incredibly young too.

    It all depends on offers coming in, but it would make more sense to offload Helik given his age and contractual situation and his value is already past its zenith given his poor form this year. I'd also say Andersen is probably at his peak too in terms of transfer value.

    It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if we come out of this window suddenly light on numbers at centre half!

    Agree abart his heading ability especially at corners but then he replaced Sollbauer who had the same aerial problem in the box.

    A real shame this. Did really well for us last year and has seemingly been bombed out for no reason (something behind the scenes obviously).

    He's in our best 11 imo.

    No I don't get the love in aswell. Genuine pace but that's about it. Makes bags more mistakes than Mads or Helik, no where near as good. Better than Moon, but so's my aunt Betty. It's no great loss losing Sibbick.. this season f@cked anyway. Just shows how bad we accutly are if everyone's crying at this bit of news.

    That's a shame. He wasn't much of a right back but I thought he did a good job in central defence. I've no idea what's going on at the club.
