I’d have given him a bash in midfield. He’s never a centre half in a million years but he’s got something about him for sure.

He’s too indecisive when teams attack us and can’t head the ruddy thing so he’s no good at centre half. Think it was Birmingham at home when we were in complete control and he let them in. We ended up clinging on for a draw.

Remember It’s not that long ago he was one of the scapegoats, I feel this is another example of a player suddenly becoming better in everyone’s minds when they’ve been out of the team for a while.

I'm fairly indifferent to this, not least because I don't know what's happened to leave him out of favour.

But purely from a football pov, he'd struggle to get a regular start here, unless we sell Helik. When we've played a back three recently, it's been Helik on the right hand side of the three, which I think is the only position Sibbick can play. If we play a back 4, I'm not convinced he'd be up to much as part of a CB pairing.

Unfortunately, I can see a scenario where we're in League 1 next season with a back 4 that both Sibbick and Ben Williams would get into comfortably.

Being an active earthquake zone, with several fault lines around, the usual approach is to drill down to bedrock.

For reasons unknown, probably to save a few dollars, they took a different approach and only went into the soil / sand, on a concrete slab foundation.

The issue was compounded when they dug one of the biggest holes I have ever seen next door, as part of the Transbay Terminal (an interchange for all transit systems).

I believe they first noticed an issue when someone on one of the top floors was practicing putting, and the wall rolled into the corner of the apartment.

I think people are more pissed off by the fact that sibbick was a big part of the defence last season, he is miles infront of moon and only a year older and kitching is looking more of a liability every game. If your wanting to strengthen a team you sell your weaker players id rather we ship moon. But whatever in poya we trust hes winning so many games.

I get what you are saying, but Sibbick won't make a career at CB. Ball playing sweeper or deep-lying mid, fair enough.
I agree we shouldn't be selling though, cos of the current sh17sh0w that is our squad.

Moon will be a better CB long term. His issue is that instead of being introduced gradually, as per most decent prospects, he was thrown under a bus by Schopp (or Conway?) and rather than develop, he has suffered a crisis of confidence instead. Sadly, most folks have made their minds up on him. Long term, he will have seen this bad spell as a valuable part of his development.

    Opinions ........

I wonder what he did, nip down to Five Guys while Khaled conducted his first press conference

It's clear you can't speak out against this board or the running of the club, or the shambles of a threadbare coaching team last summer one iota. If you do, you'll be shipped out to the Kassam faster than you can say 21-word statement.

Have to agree on this. He lacks the physicality of a CB. Sweeper. wing back or holding midfielder yes, but needs a run in one position, not being shifted about from week to week.

Most people have made their minds up based on what they've seen. Moon has nothing going for him, no pace, shocking positional play and awareness and he's only a year younger than Sibick. He's a complete and utterly liability along with kitchen and I don't think he will come good.

Sibbick lacks the aerial ability to play with two cb's. He probably lacks the skill for a full-back and is untested in centre mid.

If we're going to play a back 3 however, i think that's his sweet spot, I'd definitely have him in there for his pace which allows us to play a higher line. You might be able to whack him in as a holding mid as well, but preferrably in a three man midfield.

I think there’s a player in Moon, I thought he looked better on Saturday. Yes he gave away a free kick that they scored from but it was pretty far out & you wouldn’t normally expect to be scored against from that distance.

He’s been chucked in at the deep end but he’ll be a better player for it. You’ve got to remember he’s had literally 3 games of mens football before this season on loan at York.

I’m much more concerned about Kitching who’s had two full seasons of men’s football at Harrogate & Forest Green & doesn’t seem to have any positional sense especially as we’ve probably paid decent money for him.

Another one to add to the list of decent fees tossed down the drain. Thomas, Schmidt, Oulare, Kane (seeing as we don’t appear to want him back), Benson (still time I suppose but doesn’t look good) and Kitching.
Be close on £5m I reckon on that lot. Decent outlay for a club like us to get minimal return from.
