Obbi is being retrained to be Vicky’s assistant. He spends more time in there than anywhere else it seems. Well, either there or on his couch laiking FIFA.

We’ll be crying out for a player like Sibbick when Helik and Mads have bailed on us next season.

Right back, left back, centre back, defensive midfield.

We’re crying out for a player like him now when we are using Jasper Moon, Liam Kitching and Jordan Williams to play in these positions. I have nothing against those three in terms of effort, but Toby Sibbick is better than all of them.

The statement made by the ceo is a scandal. But who’s surprised?

quietly disappointed with Toby leaving... and Herbie not being recalled for a good run in midfield..

(and I've been thinking that we could have talked to Hourhane this last year)

Toby, if you read this site... you are well thought of around here. Will follow your career and wish you the best..

I know it’s only 11:30pm but when you’ve finished the story you need to get to bed.

Toby or not Toby that was the question and the answer has been given - another stupid, ill judged disgraceful decision by a club that is now a disgrace - reminds me of the film Kingpin where Roy Munson, the ten pin bowler is so hopeless a new word/phrase is created, "you've been Munsoned" to describe someone who is up sh.t creek without a paddle, that name/;phrase will soon be "you've been "Barnsleyed" -

Both will be lucky to get offers in the summer. Both are playing at a fraction of the standard they were at last season.

    Money talks.

    Undisclosed fee for Toby.
    Oxford paid to keep Herbie.
    Undisclosed fee for Williams B.
    Freiser contract terminated.

    new signings - nil.

surely we can afford to sign someone to hold our midfield.

Toby was one or our better players.

This window has spoken volumes so far.

I would be surprised if it was anything like that amount. Looking at Hearts transfer dealings since they became fan owned they tend to cap out at £200k on transfers.

Why would we pay a club to keep a player on loan ?
Surely we could loan him to other clubs without paying or even bring him back to sit at home rather than pay a club .
Not sure this is factual tbh , I’d be totally baffled if it were .
I’m inclined to think this is a rumour bore out of frustration than anything near factual tbh .

Toby Sibbick is Hearts top player in the team today in their 2-0 win over Motherwell.

Scored the highest with 8.44 on the BBC website

Just seen this misen. Good on the lad. I cannot believe we've got rid of arguably one of our most improved players. Crazy.
