Very clever player with a good football brain. His finishing wasn't the greatest though in his time with us.
Over 100 goals in the top 2 divisions of English football. I wonder how many of those the current lot will end up with between them.
When he came in we had a bit of upheaval in the striking department. However, the following season under Bassett we had Shipperley, Dyer, Hristov, Hignett and Geoff Thomas that liked to get forward. He didn't do bad but Bassett rotated things round quite a bit. Then in 2000/1 the team was poor again although he scored goals in the League and cup early doors. He must have fell out of favour under Spackman. 2001/2 was his best season.
