I'm uncomfortable with calling people thick because we all have our strengths and weaknesses. Given the truancy rates, class disruption and general lack of respect for teachers at White Cross though, and I'm sure other schools were similar, uneducated cannot be disputed. That's a cold fact. So long as the owners and readers of Twitter realise the extreme, bizarre views are not representative of the average fan I don't think we have to worry.
You've got to remember th You've got to remember that statistically, almost half of all people are below average intelligence.
Well said. ive tried to put that across before and feel this is where we're putting player trading before strengthening the team. we don't need to spend millions we ant got or bankrupt the club just buy one decent player instead of 3 punts. still chance to push on with the January window..
Well theyve already thrown ten million at the club - as permanent capital, not loans - so how much more will it take to convince people?
Chien is pretty much a spent force, the only people currently putting money in are the current board members - notably Neerav who has injected several millions.
I think it's fairer to say the current investors have had to invest because of the mistakes of the previous investors. Yes they were part of the same board, but as minority shareholders with zero power or influence. Credit where it's due, theyve chucked the rotten apples out of the barrel and put their own money - millions of it - where their mouths are.
Often it is using an anecdote to make a generalisation. A tactic often used by the right wing media like the Mail and Express.
A friend is a well respected football accountant, he's worked for some good sized clubs and represented some very well known people within the game... the in joke apparently is.. how to become a millionaire quickly?.. be a billionaire and buy a football club.
Fans keep getting ridiculously accused of that though dont they. But who is actually demanding that we "spend millions or even billions..", which would obviously then put us in even worse position financially. But there are better ways for them to show ambition, than the way they do things right now.
Totally agree about quality over quantity and hope that we can add a quality player in January but it's equally as important to move fringe players out too.
