No, neither did I, other than on the training pitch where he made some of the more lauded players look like selling platers.
Very skillful lad but he did not fit in .

He was gash on a stick for Dagenham, by all accounts.
Be interesting to see where he ends up. Perhaps Northampton again? He was popular there.
To be honest, we have great players down the left so am not at all arsed.

Maybe Flicker is having to rejig his budget now Steele/Hassell have signed back on or maybe he needs a bit more coin to secure his targets.

So he should've let him play when he thought he wasn't ready?

He's tried to give him a kick up the arse in public. No doubt he tried that in private too.

Releasing Silva and Rooney will free up some wages for 1st team recruitment. The priority needs to be with the 1st team. Especially on a tight wage budget. Although they wont have been on huge wages, i am sure it will give the management a little bit more flexibility.

Given the age of both players - Silva (19 years old) and Rooney (22 years old) - if they were good enough, they would have at least found themselves on the fringes of the 1st team last season. Look at Digby, RNL - they were given the chance of actually playing (never mind sitting on the bench) at 16 years old. Silva would have no chance next season after us signing Jennings, Digby is back from injury and is better/4 years younger than Rooney.

I think Brad Kilburn has also left the club.
