I'm sure Davey think he's going to do a Drogba and have a year of being **** before becoming one of the best strikers in the world.

If so, good luck with that.

    Maybe, maybe not.

At the beginning of the season though we were promised 'competition for all places', which implies that if someone isn't playing up to scratch or gets injured, a more than capable deputy would be able to step in as cover. Didn't realise that 'competition for all places' actually meant 'move Bobby Hassell around a lot if needs be.'

    He's 23, not 26...

Still doesn't have any potential though!

I dont think it is a lack of confidence, i think it is just a lack of finishing ability. Hope he proves me wrong tomorrow night.

He's 26, unless he actually started his professional career aged 14 or something.

    RE: Couldnt agree more

you must be after a free season ticket - you're an embarrassment

how can 4th bottom be an improvement when we came 5th bottom last season?

Thats it , its all the fault of beating Liverpool

nothing at all to do with th abysmal tactics and substitutions, or the fact that we have the worst away record in the league.

How on earth I missed out on it being Liverpools fault is beyond me !.
