And "the anti-Davey mob are too thick to notice it." Thanks for that. That belly laugh was just what I needed to blow the cobwebs away this morning. Proper LOL.

As Bill Shankley famously said about luck in football

"Lucky? Lucky? Lots of people keep calling this team lucky, it's funny, the harder we train the luckier we get!"

Wonder if the opposite is true.

Also trying to hang on to 1 goal leads - you'd think when it keeps not working you might try something different - you cant blame bad luck for conceding in the last 10 minutes frequently - you are clearly doing something wrong.

Isn't JCR a better player than when he arrived at the club?

His stock hs certainly risen in value. If we did indeed reject a £1m offer at Xmas, that's certainly more than we paid for him.

    He's the same player.

And that's despite Simon Davey's efforts to **** him up.

That is far too logical for some of the numpties on here mate!

How can it be luck when all teams get injuries during the season, but other teams sem to be able to cope, I know we have a smallish squad but according to the manager , it is one of the strogest in this division.
Bad coaching has got to be blamed for the inability to defend set pieces etc. not bad luck. The strikers cannot all be *****, if they are why did Davey buy them? So that again come back to the coaching side of things.

Bobby Hassell was asked about the late goals on the radio -
    he said:
"the manager is screaming at us to push up, but we don't, the strikers go in to midfield, the midfield go into defence and the back four end up on the goal line".

if this squad learns from the experience - then there is a lot of potential there for us next season.
