    Surely

It's a two way thing. The team and the manager are responsible for victories and losses. Win together and lose together. I just didn't like the way Mr Davey seemed to absolve himself from any blame for losses so far and put it all down to individual mistakes. I thought that was bad leadership. Having said that, it was a throw away comment and should have dropped down the board days ago. Let's hope for a win today. If we get one, our manager will certainly deserve some credit.

    But Simon once said..

"we win as a team and lose as a team".

To be fair, how can Davey take any of the blame?

Nearly all the goals have come from lacklustre defending and/or already said individual errors. It's not like we've been getting played off the park comprehensively, and conceded well thought out, tactic-eliminating goals.

I'm pretty sure that Davey's tactical decisions are not to blame, but maybe his man-management needs a reviewing?

But isn't that where everything comes from?

For his tactics to work, the players have to believe in them. For them to believe in his tactics, they have to believe in him. To believe in him they have to respect him. For the players to respect him,he has to treat them like adults and not like academy kids. Its a never ending cycle.

    Ridiculous isn't it?

It's like some people think he signs, trains and picks the players.</p>
