you are putting pressure on the player.
the thing kh wants is the players to go out pressure free and express them self.
pressure can make you want to hide and not want to get the ball or it can make you try worldly passes or shots every times you get ball.

How can someone saying that" it`s going to be a tough season , but who knows , anything is possible, just look at 1997", be putting anyone under pressure?
Surely it is the other way around? They are saying it may turn out to be better than we can imagine. Not that we should get promoted, surely even you can see the difference there Phil?

i understand what you mean mark but he sees it other way.

also mark, the post and pre match comments are shields for the players.

saf, jm, neil warnock b davies former forest manager all do the same thing. make a comment. pressures on him, players are fine with non of the spot light.

    i like that style tbh.

He actually said 'I'm sick of hearing about 97,sick of it' which implies people are ramming it down his throat and not '.experienced some reference to 97 during his tenure here' as you put it, he's only been here 3 months. Lets forget about about 1912 FA Cup win centenary,it might upset Keith......Lowry you 'clearly' know more about it than we do,please enlighten us.

Sorry to stick my head above the parapet Madmark, but I've several times referred to 97-97 on here.

No apologies for that, because if we're now entering the land of financial reality, then 96-97 really ought to be the blueprint. A team assembled for less than £1M reaches the Premier League! I'm not saying that's the expectation, cause clearly it was an exceptional achievement, but Danny's skill and contacts brought us a team that had skill and spirit, and which could entertain. That was done by means of his experience at the top level and his network of contacts.

The mention of that era ought to be a challenge - it's only a threat if you haven't got the experience and the contacts and you're not confident of your ability to bring entertainment to the fans.
