    Good post but a cry in the dark.

    The no-brainer shock tactic which is, after all, his one trick, is apparently ok because it's only the internet and not real life etc blah except, of course, when a subject is broached that he takes seriously and then it's a different story and he throws a proper strop. Duplicitousness matched only by site admin in the way they apply the laughable &quot;BBS Rules&quot; to respective individuals.</p>

    Amazing but not surprising

    I agree totally with your last sentence. However, If TFP was just "shock tactics" then he'd never be funny. What he said yesterday only had a chace of being funny because of what others had written throughout the day. Whilst I reckon he was only mildly amusing - lukethered's response made me laugh out loud (and I still think TFP may have had a hand in that as well).
