Ah, I didn’t even open that thread as I suspected it would be a bin fire.

    Good post.

This forum is 50% Barnsley FC & 50% everything else at best. The focus is we are all BFC fans of all ages, but the subject matter varies. Thank God most of the racists have gone elsewhere. The last 3 years have been particularly trying due to the pandemic & a government that would make Italy proud in terms of stability. Probably the worst 3 years of my life for various reasons & I've made a lot of up & down posts over those times. I think the admin do a great job TBH. Loads of people spring to mind who could step up, if needed.

Admin does a job which by virtue of its role as censor places the individual adminor on guard in a position of power over the unwashed masses.

This power is exercised on here quite randomly.

You can get banned without prior warning or subsequent explanation.

So long as we all know.

I got a 7 day ban once, which I probably thoroughly deserved. It was mid the first lockdown & I wasn't in a good place. Was no doubt a blessing.

You got hot under the collar over a post of mine to you a few years ago - that was probably my misunderstanding of your sensitivity (and harmless volatility). So I should have kept quiet.

You're one of those who's posted so long that your personality is in every post.

Your posts remind me of a bloke who lived in my house at Uni whose drum kit fell on him and the crowd thought it was part of the act. He had been in the early version of a group called Landscape who had a hit with Einstein a go go.

Remember the track. I'm probably a lot more complicated & to a small extent successful than you might imagine in terms of running an agency. It's been ups & downs at times the last 3 years. No help from Sun Crack & the rest of the ******* jokers that are fleecing our country. Doing OK, but Mum died this year from cancer & Dad is in a care home with altzheimers. Same guy who grew up im Mapp with Norman & wrestled with Brian Glover. Now he's just sat in a bed shitting himself. He never shat himself back in the day. He was the hardest barstard in the town, but a good bloke.

Thank you for your vote of confidence mate, although I can assure you, I have a tendency to go into things two footed without fully understanding something :D

Genuinely think @Archey, @JamDrop and @Marc are really good shouts in terms of members that have been on here for a long time, come across as fair and are respected by the forum.

No idea if they’d fancy it, mind. I know only too well myself how difficult it is to police a platform full of varying opinions etc. Thick skin needed.

How about Jimmy Viz doing one of his man of the match style votes.
And the top three are legally bound to take on the admin duties, quit their jobs and all live together in a flat above the former GT News in town.
