I get the feeling he was a bit of a panic buy in August, he'll be on very good money and he's pretty quickly dropped to the bench with Watters coming back. Not sure we'll be paying him the money he wants for another year.

You could well be right. A few months ago he looked very dangerous I thought but you’re right, in recent weeks Watters has been preferred to start.

However, I do still think Humphrys will play a key role for us the rest of this season and we’ll look to extend his deal personally.

 

Suppose it depends what league were in, if we go up I'm not sure similar to Norwood never played above league one.

 

That is very true. I don’t think he will ever be a main lone striker at championship level but I do think he’d still be a decent option off the bench. Or even starting as long as he’s next to another out and out striker.

 

You seriously think any of them would command a fee? We’d be paying them to leave.
