They're non-geographical. Ostensibly they're to make things easier but they're often up to 10 times the cost of a normal call. Also people on unmetered deals have to pay them. In short they're a sneaky rip. Martin explains that the bloke has had to sell a bit of adspace to cover his costs but the ads rotate and he has no control over them. If they want to try to sell those numbers on there let them try.

None of my Sky boxes are connected to the phone. infact i cannot remember the last time they where! :S
they will suss you in the end, they only seem to check multiroom lines now,i fobbed them off for a couple o months saying the engineer didn't fit a filter for the broadband!!!
