RE: multiroom or on its own?

I hear what you're saying but I just wanted sky+, the fact that I can get multiroom at a cheaper price than just sky+ is a bonus.

I am still deciding which way to go. Although you have only paid £89.00 for sky+ and multiroom, you still have to pay £10.00 per month extra for the 12 month minimum contract you sign up to. So you will be paying more than the £199.00 in the long run.

I think when I got mine it was £199 + £60 installation without multiroom - but if you went for multiroom it was £89 and free installation, so was still cheaper for the year even taking into account the extra £10 a month sub. We find it's worth the extra tenner anyway just to have the advantage of watching something else is a different room.

You need to have both boxes connected to a phone line though (at it has to be installed like that) but if you don't have an extension in the other room they'll probably run the wire outside and back into your phone socket

I have just read the e mail again I got from Sky and you are right, it is still £60.00 extra for installation if you don't take up the multiroom offer so it will be worth it for the minimum contract of 12 months.
