    I know. But I think you're missing my point. It wouldn't be hard for the YP to find out if the Austrian league is a 'top league' which would then mean you don't have to mention anything about Brexit rules or an appeal.

    I thought Wolves were told they would be ok with the ex-Benfica boss?

    The qualifying criteria for managers are simpler than those for players: 24 months consecutively or 36 months over the past five years working in any competition from band 1 to band 5. You also need a Uefa Pro licence and proof your English is good enough.

    So which band does the Austrian Bundesliga fit into?

    Transfer Market says he has a pro licence

    and he played in New York so I would assume he speak some English (maybe not fluent) but enough

    I reckon Barnsley fans are in band 1 for paranoia. It’s even worse on tykes talk. One punter on there is absolutely adamant that the Austrian Bundesliga doesn’t qualify. Mind you reading between the lines he’d probably prefer Prince William running the side than another Johnny Foreigner ( if you know what I mean)

    I don’t think Barnsley fans are any different from most other fans in that amongst them are those that got a bit OTT with criticism and indeed, praise. Most are probably just like me just patiently waiting to see who gets the job, although I hope it doesn’t take too long

    They're lazy feckers at the YP. I read an article yesterday by David Behrens mentioning "as wide as a row of back-to-backs in Barnsley". Now correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm not aware of a single row of back-to-back houses in Barnsley; plenty in Leeds, but that doesn't fit their biased narrative.

    I think most people don't understand the term, and think it just refers to rows of terraced houses facing other rows with walls and yards between them. My father grew up in a real back to back on Cutty Lane, just off Greenfoot Lane, not far from The Grey Horse and Miners' Rest.

    That's not what I understand as a back to back . Back to backs share party walls. IE one family lives in the front part and another in the back.
