People have been steadily shifting away from linear television viewing for a long time...I know Sky have on-demand stuff but it hasn't grown like a lot of the other platforms whilst remaining ridiculously expensive in comparison to the competition. I haven't had Sky since 2013 and not missed it at all, I probably watch a lot more now and all I'm paying for is Netflix and Amazon Prime at about 15% of the cost of my Sky subscription.
I'm still paying for Sky, but would gladly get rid if possible. Our lass loves Games of Thrones so wants Sky Atlantic. I like the cricket and golf on Sky Sports. Can I get these cheaper then? If so, how? TIA.
0 Phone them up tell them your thinking of leaving the will put you thru to a manager say to them you have looking around at other suppliers deals they will then hopefully start offering discounts
Do what I do.... download the app Mobdro on to your mobile, mines a Samsung and it works ok... don't know about Apple phones though... and watch all uk main channels including Sky sports and BT sports (and loads more from elsewhere) for nowt on your phone. If you've got a smart tv with an HDMI socket then plug in a Chromecast thingy, and link your phone to the tv and thingy and watch it all on tv. The picture quality on the tv is not fantastic, it is much better on the mobile cos it's a smaller screen so is quite sharp, but keep telling your self that you're not paying all that dosh to Sky.... it's FREEEEEEEE !!!
