Saw him on crutches at Oakwell on Saturday which is not promising , although it might not be the worst knee injury ever ...my lad had the ACL rebuild done and couldn't get out of bed for a fortnight .

He's out for the season Sadbrewer.

Looking around we aren't 1 behind other clubs we are 2 or 3 centre mids behind others. With the rules with yellow cards. An international that's on loan from Wigan another champ club it's really not good. No excuses for me later in the season. No there tired or we have suspentions or we can't pick one against Wigan.

You do understand that there is a big thing called the January transfer window where we can sign more CM's. I'd like to know about other clubs that have 6 centre mids and how they keep them all happy and how highly there fans rate each and everyone

I'm slightly disappointed by your view on this day. We have a plan. Trust in the plan and the people who are implementing the plan.
    Fillers?
Davies, yiadom, McDonald, mawson, Roberts, Payne, white, .....and on it goes.
Buy into the fact that our current model is
    Scout well
    Recruit well
    Develop well
    Sell on
    Repeat.
Equals long term stability for the club. If we get one in five recruits right then we survive and prosper. We should patent what we're doing. As fans we should recognise that we have a plan. If we get relegated we stick with it.

Thanks for that Phil , I didn't know it was confirmed as far as D'Almeida was concerned ...but I can say he looked in far better nick than my lad .
As to midfield if we're short , its only till January , I'm sure we'll stiffen it up then if needs be . I don't know the details of the loans but I'd be surprised if we can't pull anyone back if absolutely necessary .
I don't think it's been a bad window overall , apart from the loss of Alfie for a good fee , having said that I would prefer that to losing Roberts.

Sorry pal. You are entitled to vent your spleen, but I think it looks like good business.

Remember it's not just transfer fees, wages add up & we have lost 2 & got 5. Alfie will be a loss, but we have three guys fighting for his shirt.
Moncur didn't look like getting a game & has gone out to get more game time.

How anyone can be 'underwhelmed' with that transfer window is completely baffling.

    Best we've had in ages.

Some people still expect big name marquee arses on seats signings... Not realising we are creating name players, not buying washed up ones who couldn't hack it anywhere else.
