Sleet is forecast with low temperatures and that just makes me think it's not worth making the journey tonight. It might be only around 0-1 deg C on the way but much lower going back, so a risk of black ice. Why risk it when I can sit in my warm chair in front of the PC watching it for a tenner?

I'm at the stage in life now where I don't enjoy freezing solid on a thin bit of plastic seating and I don't see the point in taking unnecessary risks on the road. If I was within walking distance I'd consider it, but I'm not, so I won't :)

Great advice but how long would it take the bag searchers at the turnstiles to finger their way through all that in my rucksack?:)

We're in Medellin at the moment and it's building up to a steady 31 degrees. :)

No need. Mary, the little Lakeland Terrier, when she comes to visit from next door, does that job

Snowed on and off most of the day here in Hunmanby, and a bit still on ground from Sunday. Not much but bitterly cold you'll need your vests on at oakwell tonight, and maybe an extra dressing gown .

I use the 1st one. Most folk here seem to be from Leeds/ West Yorkshire, or wessies as they like to be known.

I call it that as well. Nice little place. We’ve considered moving there a few times but not got round to any viewings yet
