So, a few days left of the window.

I hope we make no signings in the window now. We clearly will be relegated and stocking players now wont help. Just get the young kids in to give them game time and teat their ability.

We needed to strengthen early in the window. I look at the type of players we needed and the availability in the market. There are many good fits which have gone to lower leagues or equivalent stature teams, some for free. Maybe not the long term solutions but if we truly wanted to stay in the division they would have given us a fighting chance.

 

There’s no one coming in now but it’s no surprise to me. It was clear half way through the month that would be the case.
Frustrating because when you look how poor Reading, Cardiff and Peterborough have been doing we would still have had a chance. We’ve decided to just accept our fate it seems. Save a few quid now to lose £6m in the summer.
Bizarre.
