If he's anywhere close to Blackadder, he'll do for me.

    Yours,

If he can get the ******* ball past a defender it'll be an improvement.

    Advice for Shuker:

    Watch Devaney.
    Simple as that.

When running at a player - and you eventually reach him - you generally have to change course, otherwise you will simply run into him & he will take the ball from you.

Or, on the other hand, every time you get the ball - you could be scared of taking the defender on & instead pass it backwards or attempt a hopeless cross that will either hit the first defender or land in 40 square yards of space.

Shuker has the heart of a gnat.

Connie Jokeman can explain the concept of beating defenders far better than anyone else on the planet.

Didn't used to think much of Shuker

Like you said, he ran about a lot. But for the first half of this season I thought he did really well. Scored a number of goals and even set some up. Those crosses for Devaney to side foot home were just perfect. The last few games I've seen him he's been well off the boil and on Tuesday he was just awful. He's out of form and lacking in confidence. A spell out of the side is required. However, we never had anyone to replce him with, but if we have signed McParland it's the perfect opportunity to rest Shuker. I think he'll still have a part to play in the remaining games, but he's definitely not doing it at the moment.

    He's not doing it

but like you say his place is virtually assured at the minute. The only alternative is Howard on left and Devaney on right, and his fitness is suspect at the minute.

The other thing that pisses me off about him is his comments about the Donny game and why we lost.

    Here's another alternative

Tommy Wright on the right. works equally hard, and he sticks a better chance of winning summat in the air from the occasional hoof. just a thought.
