So the easiest thing in the world ever, would be for The Don to say 'the job is yours for the rest of the season, and we'll give you another contract if you keep us up'. It's that easy. Let's see...

Well, at least I'm trying to be positive and constructive!

Some posters on here seem to be nothing but negative and destructive. They have no positive comments to make. Wonder if you are one of the many from the "Grumbler's End" from the old East Stand when it had a wonderful Woodbine aroma and Barnlsey Bitter on the roof?

Come on, get behind the Reds!!!

Before today I didnt want him to get the gig, would have been happy for him to stay on as coach.
After todays performance he is logically the best option. A new man would want to change the system and players again when at the moment all the squad needs is a couple of additions.
    No brainer or no brain?

Ha brilliant. If it's in print or online from a reputable source I'll already know about it. If it's not - I won't. I guess this isn't.

What you like suggesting is that you know of something, perhaps not football related, which has led you to really dislike him. So much so you won't go again whilst he's here.

I was totally baffled, and less than thrilled that they kept him on.

I still have reservations, but he's doing what he can, and if they give him til the end of the season, then I'd support that. The main thing is, the players seem to be playing for each other, and for him, and the spirit was there in abundance today.

Mmm. I liked what I saw today. The formation, the passion, the way we played.

I didn't want him, but today has given me hope, which I didn't have at 10am this morning.

If he can give us more of that, ill stand down and let him get on with it.

    Superb today

What, you mean staying up every season and getting to Wembley, after beating Liverpool and Chelsea. Davey wasn't the best manager we've had by a long shot, but I really don't understand the abuse he gets on here.

I didnt wan;t him out but i wanted him to stay on as coach, but i was wary about him because of his connection to Hill. I made this judgement without seeing us play under him. I suspect many others did the same thing.

After seeing us play like that today, and how much better/different it was than under Hill, if we play the same then I'd say i want him.

The players seem to be playing for him, he looks like he could step up to the plate.

I for one would want him in now.
