    Just thought I'd play devil's advocate here, but if you ran a company in the current climate and one of your major sources of income was taken away and no real idea of when that income would come back again, would you take on new employees?
    I'm not saying these owners are brilliant or they have ambition but alot of clubs are openly saying they could run out of money in the next couple of months I don't want this happening to our club. Its not brilliant that we have a weak squad but while we can pay them and keep afloat I'm more than happy with that

    I've heard he's into his 80th season. Still uses the spreadsheet.

    Did I dream it when they said the Brown money (allegedly £2m) would be re-invested in the team ?
    What a crock of ****
    I was appalled/devastated when we waved the white flag in January and didn’t bring anyone in but this is a whole new level weakening a **** weak squad further
