    exactly, i think it was probably right imo that we just let Mellon take us through these two fixtures anyway, even we have someone already lined up.

    We just don't know whats happening though, we may be surprised and they may have someone lined up already but like you say they could just be assessing Mellon. I don't for one second however believe this nonsense that was mentioned in the chronicle i think it was that we haven't even explored any other alternatives yet or been in contact with anyone, i just don't think Mansford nor Watkins would be so naive to not have looked at all the options that are available even if they think Mellon could be the right man for the job
