    So, what sort of signings are we expecting? For me, I reckon they'll be a combination of the following 3 categories:

    1) past it, injury prone, or just obviously rubbish - eg David McGoldrick
    2) insanely leftfield - eg João Paulo, leading scorer in the Kazakhstan Premier League
    3) a very unexpected rabbit out of the hat - eg Macaulay Langstaff

    I'm expecting players mostly from pots 1 and 2

    We usually pull rabbits out (if that's the right terminology) after loads of false rumours.

    I think we sign a left wing back loanee from the Championship.

    A random Scandinavian striker.

    A none league striker for "the development team"

    Benson and Lofthouse leave on loan.

    I remember the old guy that used to stand in the bus station selling 'Green uns'. One day the sandwich board he stood by read 'FA cup 4th round draw' . I asked him who we'd drawn and he swiftly replied "I'm here to sell the news not tell it"...... Brilliant answer, I never forgot it.
